2021 Reopening Plan

COVID 19 safety accreditation

Updated 22 June 2021

As a part of the global travel community, we’ve been following recent news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very closely.

We have acquired the 'We're Good To Go' certification awarded by Visit England our Official National Tourist Organisation. Bespoke England Tours has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing, amongst many other steps taken to ensure the safety of our staff and guests.

We also recognise the increased uncertainty that COVID-19 may be causing in your own trip planning. To help you book with confidence, we remind you of our usual remarkable cancellation policy:  free cancellation with full refund on all tours up to 24 hours prior to departure. For further reassurance you can book now via email and pay cash or card on the day.

Currently London is in lockdown but here are the different steps for the easing of lockdown rules as published by Visit London, the official tourism board following UK government guidance:

2021 Spring-Summer Reopening Plan

Step one: Since 29 March, you are able to meet in a group of up to six people or two households outdoors. End of 'Stay at Home' rule.

-Therefore we will begin to offer private tours for a family or single household of up to 5 people. This includes walking and private car tours.

-From this date onwards we will be able to offer private car tours for up to 5 people of a single household to any destinations which may already be open such as gardens of properties managed by National Trust, English Heritage and other venues. We will only be offering the transportation with a driver-guide in our executive Mercedes Vito MPV with safety partition and PPE. You will need to book your venue tickets online and in advance before booking your tour with us. Please see tour descriptions for further info or call us on 07877851513 or email info@bespokeenglandtours.com

-We will continue to offer private virtual tours.

Step two: From 12 April at the earliest, all shops can reopen in London. You'll be able to visit outdoor attractions such as zoos and drive-in cinemas, and sit outdoors for a meal or drink at hospitality venues. Self-contained accommodation can also welcome guests from the same household.

-We will begin to offer public walking tours for up to 12 people. You'll be able to download an app to your phone so you can hear your guide more easily while social distancing. Use of face coverings and social distancing will be recommended until government guidance changes.

-We will continue to offer private car tours for up to 6 people from different households such as friends and family to outdoor visitor attractions such as Stonehenge and historic properties with gardens which will be open but will have to be pre-booked online.

-We will continue to offer private virtual tours.

Step three: From 17 May at the earliest, you can meet in a group of up to six people or two households indoors, and a group of up to 30 people outdoors. You'll be able to return to the city's indoor attractions, entertainment and hospitality venues, including museums, galleries, pubs, bars, restaurants and theatres. Accommodation across London can also reopen.

-We will begin to offer public walking tours for up to 30 people. You'll be able to download an app to your phone so you can hear your guide more easily while social distancing. Use of face coverings and social distancing will be recommended until government guidance changes.

-We will be able to offer our full range of private car tours for up to 6 people from different households such as friends and family to all indoor and outdoor visitor attractions which will be open but will have to be pre-booked online.

-We will continue to offer private virtual tours.

Step fourHas been postponed from 21 June to 19 July at the latest, there won't be any legal limits on social contact. Nightclubs will also be allowed to reopen their dancefloors and all restrictions lifted

Hopefully international inbound travel to London will be able to resume. This will probably be allowed from countries which at the time have low numbers of Covid 19 in their population. More guidance to be issued, the English government seem to be taking a very cautious approach to this.

-From this date onwards we aim to offer our full range of in person and virtual private tours.

All measures will be kept under review and people should continue to follow national guidance for England as set out by the government.

With the current roll out of mass vaccination we hope that we will be able to follow this detailed road map out of lockdown and we'll soon be able to get out and about safely to explore our beautiful city and country.
